### **Do you believe in God?** The God inspired/breathed Bible says: For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.\ \-[Romans 1:19-22](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?version=ESV&search=Romans%201:19-22 "Romans 1:19-22") ([Commentary](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?version=ESV&resource=reformation-study-bible&tab=study&search=Romans%201:19-22 "View the Reformation Study Bible commentary on this verse")) He (God) has put eternity into man's heart\ \-[Ecclesiastes 3:11b](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?version=ESV&search=Ecclesiastes%203:11b "Ecclesiastes 3:11b") ([Commentary](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?version=ESV&resource=reformation-study-bible&tab=study&search=Ecclesiastes%203:11b "View the Reformation Study Bible commentary on this verse")) Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law, 15 since they show that the work of the Law is written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts either accusing or defending them.\ \-[Romans 2:14-15](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?version=ESV&search=Romans%202:14-15 "Romans 2:14-15") ([Commentary](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?version=ESV&resource=reformation-study-bible&tab=study&search=Romans%202:14-15 "View the Reformation Study Bible commentary on this verse")) The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." \-[Psalm 14:1](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?version=ESV&search=Psalm%2014:1 "Psalm 14:1") ([Commentary](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?version=ESV&resource=reformation-study-bible&tab=study&search=Psalm%2014:1 "View the Reformation Study Bible commentary on this verse")) If you are honest with yourself you know there is a God because you can see evidence around you of a designer and He has written His laws on your heart.
